Ralph Lauren Polo Green – For Men The 1978 original in the forest-green bottle — Ralph Lauren's first masculine, by master perfumer Carlos Benaim, inspired by the raw strength of the polo player on a freshly cut green field. It opens aggressively green and herbal: juniper berries, basil, artemisia, caraway, coriander and bergamot. The heart is a gentleman's study — pine tree needles and leather with chamomile, pepper, carnation, geranium, jasmine and rose. As it settles, tobacco, oakmoss, patchouli, cedar, vetiver, musk and amber give a thick, mossy warmth. Old-school masculinity with enormous sillage and 10+ hour wear.
